KLAR-NET connects between the BMW head unit and the car's audio. It delivers the music in digital quality to an external amplifier, keeps every warning sound, parking beep, navigation and phone voice working, and lets you control the amplifier from the car's own volume knob and steering wheel.

Automatic: KLAR-NET switches between Mode 2 and Mode 3 by itself — car music plays, it's Mode 2; you start Bluetooth, it's Mode 3.
